|The Invitations To Tender (ITT) on the DUE Storm Surge project (eSurge), Ref. AO6594 has been published on EMITS with a closing date of 3 January 2011.|
|The European Space Agency (ESA) hereby invites all interested companies from DUE participating countries to submit a tender for the DUE
eSurge procurement. If companies are not yet registered as an ESA bidder, they are invited to obtain access to EMITS by completing a questionnaire, which can be found at the indicated URL below, section Registration Request.

The aim of the Data User Element (DUE) storm Surge Demonstration Service (eSurge) project is to support storm surge systems, their services, engineers and scientists by facilitating the global user uptake and application of advanced information products from ESA and other Earth Observation missions.
To achieve the project aim, the objectives of the eSurge project are:
The project is focused on the development and application of Level-2 geophysical products and services to the storm surge community building on existing data streams and existing research techniques (other programs are available within ESA to develop new low level satellite product algorithms).
Closing date has been fixed on the 3 January 2011.
